AMOREM, the nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider rooted in Burke County, is marking five years under its current name after serving thousands of patients and families while expanding grief support, volunteers and enhanced end-of-life services.

Valdese-based Kellex Corporation donated supplies and funds to AMOREM, the nonprofit hospice serving Burke County and western North Carolina, supporting patient care regardless of ability to pay and expanding services for families.
