On May 8, the Burke County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Carolina Premier Construction & Coatings at its new location, 116 Stephens Road in Morganton. Owner Coleman Arrowood cut the ribbon alongside his son, Morganton Mayor Ronnie Thompson, family, team members, friends, and supporters. Also in attendance were Burke County Commissioner Chairman Jeff Brittain and Burke County Commissioners Mike Stroud and Brian Barrier; President of Western Piedmont Community College Dr. Joel Welch; President and CEO of the Burke County Chamber of Commerce Tonia Stephenson; Chamber Board Member and Ambassador Ryan Morgan; and Chamber Ambassadors Mackenzie Bostian-Adams, Carl Beardsworth, Stephanie Lipski, and Kelly Messenheimer.

The trail is located at Catawba Meadows Park, 220 Catawba Meadows Drive in Morganton. Executive Director Andrew Kota and Trails Director Shane Prisby cut the ribbon alongside Morganton Mayor Pro Tem Wendy Cato, team members, friends, and supporters.
