Meet Grace. This sweet girl is a little on the shy side, but it doesn’t take a lot to get her to lose that shyness. With some toys, slow movements, and her sister, she quickly turns into a playing machine. Grace and her nearly twin sister Precious were rescued by a kind lady who has raised them to this point and now they need to find forever homes. Ideally, these sisters would get adopted together as they really do rely on and comfort each other.

Skeeter is a sweet lady around 3 years old and spayed. She loves to play and loves anything to do with snuggles. She is doing well around other animals and would love a playmate. She is best friends with Doug who is also available for adoption, so come love and meet both of them!
Burke Animal Services is at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton. The shelter is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The phone number is 828-764-9588.
All cat and kitten adoptions are $20. All dog and puppy adoptions are $40.
