In my household growing up, there was no such thing as a meal without meat.  In college, I discovered supper can be meat-free primarily out of necessity.  I'll probably never go all-out vegan (no meat, fish, poultry, or their byproducts), but I will incorporate more vegan dishes into the rotation.
