Raiders qualify for Eastern Nationals

The East Burke Middle School archery team finished second place in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) NC State 3-D Tournament on April 22 at South Caldwell High School, earning a spot to compete in the US Eastern National Tournament in Louisville, Ky., from May 11-13. The Raiders were led by Carley Mace, who won the girls individual title with a score of 273 (out of 300), as well as by Luke Duncan, who placed third in boys with a score of 272.
