Draughn wins finale to claim Burke Bash

The Burke Bash prep softball tournament hosted by East Burke on April 15 was fiercely competitive once again, as after three teams finished with the same record atop the heap in 2022, five of the six games played this year were decided by two runs or fewer. Draughn and EB finished with identical 2-1 marks, with the Lady Wildcats' head-to-head victory over the Lady Cavaliers in the day's final contest giving them the title.
